When people are in need Kiwanians responds: the war in Ukraine has placed millions of people in desperate need. We are raising money for those people through Hope For Ukraine.
Kiwanis has vetted this non-profit organization through Charity Navigator and found it to maintain high standards.
Dr. Rosemary J. Uzzo attended the 75th Anniversary of the Korean War in front of City Hall in Yonkers. In the photo from left to right are: Martin Riccio, 93 year old Korean War veteran who lives in Yonkers; State Senator Shelley Mayer, who was instrumental in getting the first annual Korean War Veterans Recognition Day in the State of New York; the head of the Bronx Veterans Services Agency. Dr. Uzzo represented East Yonkers at this event. She also attended the Ribbon Cutting of the White Plains Veterans Memorial Garden behind City Hall in White Plains.
Members of the Kiwanis Club of Wentzville, Missouri, U.S., know that sleep is essential for a growing child’s health. A Kiwanis microgrant will help them buy mattresses and bedding for the beds they are constructing for kids in need. Read more: bit.ly/3PVDMPz#KidsNeedKiwanis... See MoreSee Less
